Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our methodology

How often is the data updated?

Our database is refreshed quarterly with the latest ACA accreditation data and monthly for publicly available camp information.

How are peer groups determined?

Peer groups are based on your state location and primary affiliation (Independent, Religious, Nonprofit, etc.). This ensures you're compared to camps serving similar markets.

What if my camp information is incorrect?

Claim your camp profile to verify and update your information. You can correct programs, activities, and other details through the claim process.

Is the benchmarking data accurate?

We source data from ACA and public directories, which are the most reliable sources for camp information. However, data accuracy depends on what camps report to these sources.

What's the difference between free and premium reports?

Free reports show anonymized peer comparisons and general percentile rankings. Premium reports (available after claiming) reveal competitor names, pricing details, and specific activity gaps.

How many camps are in your database?

We currently have data on over 3,800 ACA-accredited camps plus thousands more from public directories, covering all 50 states.
